Company Facts
- Please read our About Us page for the story on how we started Maverick Chocolate.
- In 2014 we opened our small chocolate factory shop at Findlay Market, 129 W Elder St. Cincinnati, OH 45202.
- As of 2018, we make all of our chocolate from the raw cacao bean to finished bar in our factory store at Rookwood Commons, 2651 Edmondson Road. Cincinnati, OH 45209.
- In 2024 we opened a new retail store at 623 Madison Ave. Covington, KY.

- 2024 Good Food Award Winner for our 65% Madagascar Dark Chocolate and Mocha Dark Milk Chocolate.
- 2023 Good Food Award Winner for our 75% Vietnam Dark Chocolate
- 2022 Good Food Award Winner for our Prohibition (Bourbon) Milk Chocolate.
- 2021 Good Food Award Winner for our 80% Tanzania Dark Chocolate and Ruya Turkish Coffee Dark Chocolate.
- 2019 Good Food Award Winner for our 70% Belize Dark Chocolate.
- 2018 Good Food Award Winner for our Big Island Hawaii Dark Chocolate.
- 2017 International Chocolate Awards Silver Medal for Prohibition Milk Chocolate and Espresso Dark Chocolate. Bronze for Dark Milk Chocolate with Cocoa Nibs.
- 2015 Good Food Award Winner for our Fahrenheit 513 bar.
- 2015 International Chocolate Awards Silver Medal for our Prohibition Milk Chocolate bar.
