    The cocoa beans in this bar come from Akesson's Bejofo Estate in the Sambriano Valley of Madagascar. This 100-year-old plantation produces certified fine flavor heirloom cacao, famous for a sweet, fruit flavor.

    Mellow and creamy!

    This chocolate is a little more mellow than some of the stronger percentages, but it is still a perfect blend of flavors, just a hint of sweetness. Delicous, great bite and mouth feel.

    Fragrant, luxurious

    This is the second time I bought Maverick Chocolate, and the first time I used shipping to get it up to us in Cleveland. This bar was fantastic; Maverick seems to be able to make very dark bars still sweet and not at all bitter, and there's a lot of acid in this one as well. Highly recommend.
